At our stem cell therapy and functional medicine clinic in Tulsa, we’ve been getting a lot of questions about LDN or Low Dose Naltrexone.
People often ask how to get access to it, how to take it and if there are any side effects.
A therapeutic dose of low-dose Naltrexone for autoimmune conditions is typically somewhere between 1.5mg – 4.5mg.
Because LDN is not yet approved by the FDA for autoimmune diseases and is not commercially available, it needs to be compounded at a Compounding Pharmacy.
When it comes to side effects of LDN, there are virtually no side effects. Some people report vivid dreams and/or difficulty sleeping initially, but that tends to subside after a few weeks of taking LDN.
If you or anyone you know has concerns or questions regarding LDN, then we invite you to call today and schedule an appointment with one of our medical experts here in Tulsa! 918-493-3824
